Rus concentrates his Catastrophic Injury Litigation practice on issues involving motor vehicle liability, premises liability, product liability, medical liability, liquor liability, and other related liability issues including, but not limited to, physical abuse, sexual abuse, wrongful death, medical malpractice, automobile and motorcycle accidents, slip and falls, and defective products.
Rus focuses his practice on complex, multi-party injury litigation against individuals, businesses, and governmental entities, and he specializes in representing crime victims in catastrophic civil injury claims.
Rus was awarded the 2017 Victims' Rights Partnership Award for Outstanding Achievement by the National Crime Victim Law Institute for his work in the New Hampshire Supreme Court in the Lizzi Marriott case, where he was the keynote speaker at their national conference in Portland, Oregon. Rus' work resulted in the first case in United States history where a murder victim's family was allowed to intervene in a criminal defendant's appeal.
